Safety Officer's Education and Training
As the competent person responsible for D-A-S' safety program, the Safety Officer has received training and certification in the following areas:

Assistant Safety Officer's Education and Training
In addition, the Assistant Safety Officer has received much of the same training as the Safety Officer and is responsible for the distribution of job site safety equipment, management of the lock-out/tag-out program and provides backup support to the Safety Officer.
D-A-S Employee Education and Training
As a part of each new employee orientation, D-A-S' Safety Officer reviews the details of the Employee Safety Program and Emergency Procedures Manual. Additionally, each employee receives the following:
- Copy of the Employee Safety Program Manual
- Personal Protective Equipment
- Back Braces and Proper Lifting Technique Instruction [Laborers and Truck Drivers only]
- Respirator Fit Testing training
