Project Description
D-A-S Construction Co. has completed a number of interior renovations within the Hancock Center Office Building in Bedford Heights. The most notable renovation was the removal of the second floor near the entrance of the building. By removing the second floor, D-A-S converted the closed in lobby into a magnificent two-story atrium lobby with a balcony. A new corridor was then constructed on the second and third floors along with new elevator lobbies and corridors. D-A-S Construction Co. built out a new security control room on the fourth floor that houses security panels, monitors and recording equipment and updated the electrical systems and closets throughout the building. In addition a new elevator shaft was installed to accommodate a new five-stop ADA compatible elevator.
In addition to the renovation of common areas within the office building, D-A-S Construction Co. facilitated the renovation of several tenant suites including the build out of a medical suite and laboratory as a typical office space on the second floor. D-A-S Construction Co.'s Customized Cabinetry & Millwork Production Center provided the fabrication and installation of customized reception desks within these suites.
